Easter

We had a fun Easter this year! Princess got to do two easter egg hunts, and we were invited over to the home of a family in the ward for dinner.

29

Curtis celebrated his 29th birthday yesterday. We went to Olive Garden (without Princess. Which was Glorious!), opened presents,  and ate delicious cake to celebrate the occasion. It was so fun to be together all day long. Curtis finally got the complete soundtracks to The Lord of the Rings movies, and he is going to see John Williams live in concert in Pittsburgh in June. It will be so fun for him to see his musical idol.

I love you Curtis, Happy Birthday!

He Lives

On this beautiful Easter Sunday I want to bear my testimony to all of you that I KNOW that my Redeemer lives! Our Savior, Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of our Heavenly Father gave His life; His perfect life, so that we could all return to live with Him. He died on the cross and was resurrected after three days as a perfect celestial being. He gave us the Atonement. A way for us to repent and be forgiven of our sins. How glorious it is to know of Him. How glorious it is to have the Gospel of Jesus Christ restored on the earth! We are so blessed to live in this time and to know what we know.
I am so grateful for a loving Savior who knows and loves each one of us individually. So much so that He willingly chose to make the ultimate sacrifice. He lives! All glory to His name! He lives my Savior still the same! I know, with all my heart and soul that my Redeemer lives.
I know that my Redeemer lives.
What comfort this sweet sentence gives!
He lives, he lives, who once was dead.
He lives, my ever-living Head.
He lives to bless me with his love.
He lives to plead for me above.
He lives my hungry soul to feed.
He lives to bless in time of need.
He lives to grant me rich supply.
He lives to guide me with his eye.
He lives to comfort me when faint.
He lives to hear my soul’s complaint.
He lives to silence all my fears.
He lives to wipe away my tears.
He lives to calm my troubled heart.
He lives all blessings to impart.
He lives, my kind, wise heav’nly Friend.
He lives and loves me to the end.
He lives, and while he lives, I’ll sing.
He lives, my Prophet, Priest, and King.
He lives and grants me daily breath.
He lives, and I shall conquer death.
He lives my mansion to prepare.
He lives to bring me safely there.

He lives! All glory to his name!
He lives, my Savior, still the same.
Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives:
“I know that my Redeemer lives!”

Little Gardener

The weather is really starting to get warm out here in the midwest. So we decided to do some gardening. We planted some flowers, green bell peppers, basil, and parsley.
Princess was a great little helper!
She loves being in charge of the watering can and watering all of the plants for mommy!
I just have to teach her not to step on the plants as she does it.....
                                                             My gorgeous girl.
We love spring time! (Except for all the rain. Who knew that it could rain SO much in one place? Honestly, I think we have gotten more rain in one week than we did in an entire year back in Utah)

TWO years old

Little miss princess turned 2 this last week. I can't believe that my baby is so big! Princess has grown so much, so quickly, that I almost feel its as if I blinked and she went from my sweet little newborn, to a toddler! Princess is so busy right now. She talks, and talks, and talks! You have to listen very carefully sometimes to understand her, and even then, it is sometimes very difficult. Princess likes to call us by our first names, instead of mommy and daddy. She thinks it is hilarious. It makes me wanna cry. Princess loves building blocks, music, singing, dancing, playing with barbies, disney movies, playing with musical toys, dolls, and she loves her blankie. She also loved reading books, coloring pictures, going outside and playing with friends. Princess loves to eat cooked veggies, spaghetti, cheese, yogurt, fruit bites, cereal, waffles, milk, juice, and chocolate (yep. she's definately my daughter!)
(11 days old)
Princess was such a sweet baby. She ate well, and was very alert. It took her a LONG time to get the whole sleeping through the night thing figure out though....
(2 1/2 months)

(5 months)
Princess starting crawling a month after this picture was taken. She has always been a fast learner. And a very independent spirit.
(7 1/2 months)

(9 months)
Princess started walking at 9 months old. NINE MONTHS! We were so excited, but realized very quickly how different it is to have a baby that walks. Can you say child proof anyone?
(11 months)
So cute and SO chubby!
(1 year!)
Princess turned 1 and was very spoiled  by her parents, grandparents, and aunts and uncles!
(15 months)
My crazy girl! She likes being silly.
(18 months)
Princess dressed up as Cinderella for Halloween
(20 months)

(23 months)
Don't you love her pig tails? I do! If only she would keep her hair ties in for more than 30 minutes....

Now she is TWO.

Some Princess sayings at 2 years old:
-Juice is called "bleghablegha"
-Superman is called "Madte"
-Mickey Mouse is called "Mop"
-Music is "Neenee"
-"Djenni!" aka Jenni!
-"dee do!" Thank you!
-"helper, helper!"
-"Doe do it"
-"wah wee" means waffle, and water
-papa= grandpa; mama=grandma; deedee=Kyrsten; bapi=Gabi; Joe=Joe; Djosh=Josh; Bee=Brittany
-Princess can say temple, Jesus, prayer, amen, bophet=prophet
-She can count to three
-She can says the ABC's, very slowly, copying each one I say individually.

Princess has such a fun birthday. She was spoiled rotten with gifts galore. It was so fun to watch her that day. She loved her balloons and would yell out "happy birthday" all day long. We had a princess themed birthday with a castle cake, cinderella decorations, and other such things.

I am so grateful for Princess. I am so blessed to be her mother. Bring on the toddler years!
Happy Birthday Princess. I love you.
