Mamarazzi Monday

Princess is so cute these days! Below is a collection of pictures from her recent adventures.
She plays with the movies ALL of the time. She likes stacking them and examining the contents, much to Daddy's dismay.
We enjoyed the warm temperatures this past week by getting some ice cream and playing outside at a farm!
Princess loved poking her head thru and making funny faces.
Driving the tractor with Daddy!
Beautiful girl playing outside our house in the leaves. She LOVES going outside.
Princess has recently become very independent with her eating....She is very messy!
Princess loves playing with Daddy's stuff. Hats, ties, shoes, computers, movies, wallet, keys, phone etc etc.
Toddlerhood is sure fun!

Halloween 2010

We had a great Halloween this year. Princess dressed up in a beautiful Cinderella (aka "YaYa" in Princess language) dress given to her by her Grandma and Grandpa. She was SO cute! We went to our ward Trunk or Treat where Chloe got her first trick or treating experience. At first she didn't get it, but she caught on quickly when she discovered that it was candy and chocolate that all those people were putting into her pumpkin! It was very cute. I dressed up really quickly as a witch.
This is our trunk that I decorated. I was happy with the result.
Pretty Princess Cinderella Posing for the Camera! (It is nearly impossible for her to sit still for pictures....it drives me crazy!)
Saturday night Oct. 30 we went on a double date with a couple in our ward to a corn maze in Germantown, OH. We split up and raced thru to see who could get all the map pieces of the maze first. It was loads of fun and a much needed mommy/daddy date.

Air Force Museum at WPAFB

We spent Columbus Day at the Air Force Museum here in Dayton. It is the biggest Air Force Museum in the world and is basically three huge hangars attached together. It was really cool and we had a lot of fun. Below is the F-22, the current most advanced fighter in the world.
This plane is a "Curtiss" plane!
One of the first manned planes built by the wright brothers.

The picture below Curtis believes was the plane that Grandpa Merrill flew in WWII. The picture below this is the replica of the Fat Man and Little Boy atomic bombs that were dropped on Japan during WWII.

B-2 Spirit. These fly over our house sometimes and make lots of noise!
Princess got to sit in a real cockpit! She thought it was very interesting.

Tired after an hour and a half at the museum! But had lots of fun!

Pumpkin Festival

During General Conference weekend we took a quick trip to Yellow Springs Ohio for the Jersey Dairy Pumpkin festival. It was raining but we still had some fun. We saw some farm animals, Princess got to pick out a pumpkin, and we got some delicious pumpkin donut holes and the famous ice cream there which was DELICIOUS!
Princess was SO excited when she picked out her pumpkin. She still carries it and plays around with it at home.

She was interested in the chickens.....
...............but she did not like the Cows.

Princess at the Princess show

On a last minute whim we decided to go see the Disney Princess Clasics on Ice at the Wright State University Nutter Center. We were a few minutes late but ended up having great seats. I loved the show! And so did Princess. For the first half of the show, which lasted about 45 minutes she didn't blink or move. She was completely mesmerized.

They had all of the Disney princesses, Snow White, Jasmine, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Mulan, and they had Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and Tinkerbell.

Princess loves The Little Mermaid and Cinderella. It was so cute to watch her react when they came out!
And of course we went out to eat at a yummy place called Steak N Shakes. Princess got a hat and ate lots of french fries with ketchup. Silly girl!

Family and Football

The first Saturday that we were here in September the Walker family came down to drop off some things for us and spend a few hours together. We went to the park and to the Annual Popcorn Festival in Beavercreek. The kid'lets had a fun time playing at the park and we enjoyed the short visit with them.

On September 4 we went to the first BYU Football game of the season. It was so nice to spend some one on one time together in our last day in Utah. C really enjoyed seeing all of the All-American Quarterbacks during half-time. And best of all, the Cougars won the game!

Princess at 17 months

Princess is 17 1/2 months old now. Where does the time go? I can't believe it! I want her to stay a baby forever, but it is also so exciting to see her grow and learn new things every day.

Some of her recent antics:
-Princess loves cds. She likes getting them out of DVD cases or cd cases and then stacking them and trying to put them back into the cases. She thinks it's hilarious. Daddy does not.
-Princess has this new thing where she opens her mouth really wide and then wants me to copy her. It is hilarious! If I can get it on camera I will be sure to post it.
-Princess is an expert stair climber. Up and down! We tell her to "scoot scoot" and she slides down the stairs on her tummy.
-She is very good at following her routine. She knows all the bed time stuff. It is very cute
-She is an excellent helper (most of the time ha) she knows where the diapers go to get thrown away, she knows how to turn off the entertainment center equipment, and she helps mommy put laundry in the dryer.
-Princess loves looking at pictures on the computer
-She LOVES reading stories and LOVE LOOOVVVEESSSS Milk!
-She is very stubborn, independent, and kind of a drama queen
-She loves going outside and throws a major tantrum when we have to go inside
-She loves bath-time. Mostly because she gets to splash and play with fun toys! However she hates getting washed in the bath!
-She refuses to cooperate for pictures! It is so frustrating!
-Princess Loves playing with other kids. She likes giving them hugs and sharing toys and trying to make new friends. It is SOOOO cute! I just wish the other kids would respond better....mostly they get freaked out or run away......I think she is just to advanced for her age, and the other little ones don't get it yet
-Sweet girl loves her pink teddy bear and a very specific pink blanket.
-She is a big copy cat. She will copy everything that I do. Singing, making sounds, eating(or at least pretending to eat) and she even plays "follow the leader" with actions and everything!

-The biggest change so far for our little girl is that she is 100% TODDLER! No more baby! She throws glorious tantrums and insists on doing it her way. *Sigh* It's a good thing she is SO cute!
We love her so much. She is the sunshine in our lives, and I am grateful everyday that Heavenly Father saw fit to allow me to be her mother.
