Moving, moving, moving

So we just moved in to our new apartment. So far its alright, I would much rather be somewhere else because then that would mean that Curtis has a job. However it is nice to have my family around again and I will probably be able to take some more classes at BYU this year which means that I don't have to do as many online. Yay!

Anyways, so there is a cleaning lady and repair guy here right now because the apartment was not cleaned well and was not checked out well before we moved in. It's a little frustrating but at least things are getting cleaned up better.

Once we get moved in we will share some pictures!

Oh! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY GAVIN!!!! My little Brother is 12 today. WOW. And he is almost as tall as I am. It is INSANE!! Anyways I sure love you Gavin and am so proud of you!
And yes, Chloe is screaming her guts out in this picture. So fun!

p.s. Moving is such an ugly looking word. Yuck!

Chloe's favorite things

Chloe is getting so big! She now weighs 9 lbs 2 ounces and is almost 21 inches long. She is even growing out of her newborn size clothing and diapers. She also has some likes (and dislikes of course.)

Chloe loves her binky! But only when SHE wants it. Try and give it to her when she doesn't and she gets mad!

Chloe likes to go on walks every morning with mommy. However the look on her face in this picture seems to say otherwise.

Chloe loves listening to Daddy's music. When she cries and fusses, the music will calm her down.

Chloe likes sleeping. Especially in funny positions or cuddled up to mommy and daddy.

She is SOOOOO cute! We're hoping that she reaches some milestones soon such waking up less during the night and smiling. We sure love our sweetie!!

Our Founding Fathers

We just finished watching the John Adams TV mini series starring Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney as John and Abigail Adams. The series was probably about 8 hours long and we watched it over three nights. The series was fabulous. The insight into the life of one of our founding fathers was really inspiring and humbling. They sacrificed so much for this country. At the end of the series John Adams says that he hopes that his posterity respects the freedom that they have because if they don't then all that he and others had done would have been a waste. It is an important reminder to all of us that the freedom's that we enjoy should not be taken for granted. Men and women sacrificed everything to obtain them.
In the last parts of the mini series John Adams also states that his wife was his closest friend and confidante. When his son John Quincy comes to him for political advice Adams asks him why he is asking him and not his wife. Adams tells his son that his mother Abigail gave him the best advice and support and that he could not have done half the things that he did without Abigail. Their relationship was so strong and Abigail was an amazing woman. I think it just shows that a man is nothing without the woman, and the woman is nothing without the man. Seeing their marriage and their love for one another was very inspiring.
Our country did not come without sacrifice and we all need to continue to protect our country and our freedom. Because like stated at the end of the series, if we don't then all that was accomplished by our founding fathers would go to waste.

1 Month old!

It's hard to believe that Chloe is 1 month old now. She is such a joy! I feel so blessed to be her mother and humbled that Heavenly Father would trust us with one of his precious children.
